Service Design Consultant - Outsourcing/ITIL
A leading financial services company seek an experienced Service Design Consultant to design a Work Package that will deliver an IT Service Management framework, based upon ITIL best practice, to govern the operational aspects of an Infrastructure Hosting Agreement.
The Service Design Consultant - Outsourcing/ITIL, will establish an IT service management culture and contribute towards the overall elevation of the agreements IT maturity.
The Service Design Consultant - Outsourcing/ITIL, must have:
Previous experience designing service for a new IT Outsource arrangement.
ITIL v3 expert qualified.
Be a Service Designer NOT a Service Manager.
As Service Design Consultant - Outsourcing/ITIL, you will work with the Head of IT to create an IT Service Management Policy that incorporates a clear statement of IT Service Management responsibilities, direction and application. You will define clear business ownership and support matrices for the applications such as: Siebel CC, Siebel DPR, OpenText (LiveLink) & OBIEE applications (all environments).
The Service Design Consultant - Outsourcing/ITIL will also ensure operating procedures are aligned as part of the framework, for example;
Operating System Patching procedure.
Firmware upgrade procedure (also consider firmware upgrades on shared service infrastructure - ie NetApp storage).
