Description
1 year plus contract in St. Petersburg, FL for a Voip Implementation Coordinator. The position is due to start Mid January. The IC is responsible for coordinating implementation activities between the customer, Project Management personnel, engineering, field technicians, and third party client/vendor resources (eg, voice and data equipment vendors, local service providers, etc.) providing both pre/post-technical support as needed. The IC must consistently leverage his or her expertise in project implementation, offer suggestions to improve service delivery performance and generally utilize product knowledge to ensure customer needs are being met.
Duties include:
1. Provides input for project planning to included cost estimates, project timelines, dependencies, milestones, resources.
2. Prepares and executes implementation plans.
3. Performs Site Assessments as required by the project.
4. Reviews the Engineering Construction Document (ECD) to ensure its accuracy and completeness.
5. Ensures all materials needed for construction are on the job site when needed.
6. On-site project coordinator responsible for implementing.assigned* projects
1) Candidate must have a valid Florida driver*s license with a satisfactory driving record.
2) A personal vehicle will be required. This position requires travel throughout the FL service territory. The work will frequently require overnight travel.
3) Ability to work extended work days and weekends.
4) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
5) Proficient with the principles, theories, concepts and technologies of VoIP architecture and implementation
6) Knowledge of VoIP technology, as well as, Avaya and Nortel products is preferred
7) Strong planning and organizational skills to enable oversight of multiple projects at any given time.
8) Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word).
9) Three to Five years experience in Voice technologies
