Profile
We are looking for someone to support executive and specialist communications programmes for our client as part of the international PR team. The role is designed to expand on work already in progress, and increase the reach of external communications on behalf of our client outside the US in 2012. Reporting to the director of international PR and communications, in Reading, UK, you will work extremely closely with the core PR team, agency teams, field marketing, sales and other key staff based in our clients office locations.
Key Candidate Requirements
Educated to degree standard
- Communications, media or relevant experience within the technology or telecommunications industry - preferably with a mix of agency and in-house experience
- Account director level or similar
- Experience working in a pan-regional team and global team
- Experience of speaker programme management
- Strong project management skills
- Strong relationship management, communication and presentation skills.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to liaise and communicate effectively with internal and external clients from a variety of backgrounds, as well as the ability to lead multiple initiatives concurrently in accordance with budget and time constraints.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a virtual team environment.
