Networkers are recruiting for an exciting 3 month contract opportunity with a key public sector body. Recent corporate initiatives to improve financial management have created an urgent requirement for a support to the Head of Finance Training & Development. The role holder will have BPSS security clearance with a relevant accountancy qualification and knowledge of accountancy as the role will be managing the co-ordination and organisation of relevant events within the finance department. The events will include CPD and finance conferences, workshops for the continual professional development of accountants, recruitment events for trainee accountants, marketing finance courses and other corporate training initiatives. Additional responsibility will include the evaluation of training courses and providing follow up and feedback to line managers to update on the delegates development and ensure training plans are followed and updated. The role holder will also be responsible for co-ordinating the supply and delivery of financial management training for the department and also provide administrative support as required. An organised approach with excellent administration skills are a must. The ideal candidate will understand the requirements of accountancy trainees and finance training programmes and have excellent IT skills including Excel and working knowledge of databases.
