Management/Office Assistant: Assist manufacturing engineer/supervisor and facilities team of large food products company by handling several departmental/office tasks as needed. General office/project assistant. Food manufacturing setting. Office is in the manufacturing floor area. Multifunction position handling any tasks needed to support team supervisor and group. Data/information input and management, purchasing and inventory control, vendor contact and management, office processes, some HR and a great deal of reporting. Will take orders and update system, work with maintenance team to keep information updated in various spreadsheets and databases. Work with purchasing team to create and track purchase orders, contact suppliers as needed, and update systems. Handle paperwork related to specifc programs involving consolidating processes and documentation (ie: safety procedures), maintain and update spreadsheets for the project, handle manufacturing/facilites staff issues and questions as they arise. Will operate within company policy, company practices, safety and contractual requirements.
Strong organizational skills, excellent computer skills and ability to input data. Strong Excel skills (spreadsheet management), excellent communication skills, excellent people skills, understanding of purchase order process a big plus. Will work with all levels of employees. Patience and excellent troubleshooting and project handling skills are a key. Excel, Word, databases, PO systems, Data entry
