Ihre Aufgaben:
- Management of a small (2-4 consultants) multinational team of consultants as a Chief Enterprise Network Architect fully responsible for this work stream
- Deliver strategy, end-to-end planning and dimensioning and implementation blueprint of a global enterprise network with world-wide coverage
- Consider especially the specific service requirements of the customer to plan and dimensions this network including e.g.: data enter requirements, internet access service and other service requirements, virtualization requirements (VLAN, VPNs ...), security and QoS requirements etc.
- Consider the customer specific implementation and operation related requirements for the enterprise network (e.g. make-or-buy, sourcing, processes for network implementation, operation, governance ...)
Ihre Qualifikation
- Established practical experience in the telecommunications industry
- Established practical expierience of planning, designing, implementing, operating large scale enterprise networks
- Has a master degree (or comparable) in communications engineering or alike
- Has excellent project management and communications skills with technical/engineering as well as senior management counterparts
- Team player
- Ideally has experience / track record working for management and technology consultancy companies
- Deep technical knowledge and experience in packet based transport network (xWDM, Ethernet, IP, MPLS …) strategy, design, implementation and migration for global / large scale enterprise networks
- Deep technical knowledge and experience with end-to-end planning, design, implementation and operation of IP based, global enterprise networks and services including enterprise network requirements for data centres
- Deep technical knowledge and experience with relevant standards, technologies and multiple vendors. Respective certification (e.g. CCIE) would be an asset but is not mandatory.
- Very good understanding of multi-layer network planning and optimization (capacity, quality, resiliency …) including traffic modelling and network and service costs modelling and usage of respective tools
- Very good understanding and experience of the design and implementation of network related functions and services such as DNS, DHCP, AAA, proxy, content caching/CDN, DPI, intrusion detection/prevention and network security
- Very good understanding and experience of the design and implementation of IP addressing, routing, peering, naming (DNS) etc. also including relevant standards, procedures and authorities (e.g. IETF, IANA, ITU, Registries…)
- Good knowledge and experience in IPv6 network design, implementation and migration of IP networks
- Good knowledge and experience with tender development and evaluation (RFI/RFP/RFQ)
