Job description

The position gives the possibility to work across the different test sites within the IOT department (Tokyo, Beijing, Seattle and Hong Kong). You will also work together with other teams outside IOT; eg Type Approval, System management and design teams.

Required competence

* Expertise knowledge in GSM, WCDMA or LTE network procedures and deep understanding of the protocol stack (ie for WCDMA you should know CAS, RRC, RLC/MAC or PHY and be familiar with spec. like 25.331).

* Minimum five year of experience in the field of telecommunications, specifically work related to the air interface in GSM, WCDMA and/or LTE. Examples of previous work are with designing/testing/integrating RNCs or testing mobile platforms.

* Excellent English skills, both verbally and in writing.

* Good social and networking skills to support teamwork in project groups as well as ability to work independently.

* Good communication and documentation skills.

* An advantage is experience of working with customer support and relations.

* You should enjoy working in an international environment.

* Possibility to travel globally as 30% travelling should be expected.

Wanted competence

* Experience in interoperability testing and/or customer support within the network signaling area is beneficial.

* Driving license.

* International experience, either from living or working abroad.

Place of Assignment

1 resource at Company's premises in Seattle, extensive travelling is required.

3 resources at Company's premises in Lund, Sweden, 4 resources in US( 2 in Chicago, 2 in New York, possibly Dallas and 2 required for Seoul, South Korea.
