Three offices support the 24x7 operation: NSW, Victoria and the UK (for overnight). All radiologists are FRANZCR registered. The same levels of quality, technology and auditing apply as for the UK, although the Australian work is supported on a completely separate IT architecture for patient confidentiality requirements.
They need experienced GMC registered Consultant Radiologist
12-24 month contract
The role is based in either NSW (preferred) or potentially in Victoria and would be to report UK cases. These are generally urgent cases from a number of hospitals through out the UK in which patients have been imaged and they require an urgent report e.g. Trauma, strokes etc. In addition there would be some non-urgent cases for reporting during the quieter periods.
Generally the Radiologist within this practice prefer to work 7 days on and have 7 days off however this is flexible.
The Radiologists work from a dedicated reporting centre with full support staff who take the incoming calls, sort the cases and type the reports. The Radiologists work on dedicated reporting stations with fully integrated RIS/PACS which are 'state of the art' and have full 24 hr IT support.
