Experis currently has a need for multiple IMPLEMENTATION SPECIALISTS for our Fortune 100 client. These are 6-month contract to hire positions located in Columbia, South Carolina.
Using our client's in-house proprietary toolset, the Implementation Specialists design, develop, and configure software systems to meet market and/or clients' requirements either end-to-end from analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance (including testing), to delivery and maintenance of the software product or system. They will apply knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes and tools in the creation of insurance software solutions to support a client, project or entity.
The Specialist role will be approx. 80% programming, 20% client-facing. They will implement client requirements by interacting with team members and users, designing solutions, creating and maintaining ManuScripts, writing documentation, unit testing their work, and debugging issues within the ManuScripts.
Daily Functions:
- Create and implement components of an insurance system independently which can include User Interface, Rating, Forms, User Security, and TransACT
- Independently unit tests, debugs and corrects ManuScript issues with medium complexity
- Works closely with Insurance Specialists to ensure accurate product output
Qualifications:
- Level 2 Specialists will have a minimum of 3 years of professional IT experience, Level 3 Specialists will possess 5+ years of professional IT experience
- Minimum 1 year application programming experience preferably with HTML, XML, XSLT
- Insurance/P&C software experience desirable
- Degree in Computer Science or CIS preferably
