SENIOR VOICE ENGINEER
Our client is currently requiring the services of an experienced Senior Voice Engineer for an initial 6 month engagement to manage the delivery of IT Services.
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the key responsibilities will include:
Maintaining a broad understanding of client voice environment and current, emerging technologies relevant to the role and providing Technical and Infrastructure Design for Technology solutions
Responsibility for the design of complex business solutions that integrate all voice and data communications components into an effective system network
Customer relationship management and resolving problems/issues in a constructive manner
Working with Service Delivery Managers to effectively provide communication on the services delivered is provided to clients and ensuring effective execution of business strategies and goal alignment
The successful candidate will have:
Strong knowledge of how to design, build and deploy Cisco IP telephony, Unified Messaging (switching and routing design for IP telephony solutions)
Sound knowledge of IP Video technologies specifically around Cisco Telepresence, Tandberg and Polycom systems and knowledge of Voice Carriage networks and protocols
High level interpersonal and communication skills as well as strong analytical and project coordination skills
Self motivated and self-confident with the ability to take ownership of issues
