The Role:
My client is looking to appoint an Open Text Application Architect required to support the design and implementation for all facets of Open Text applications related to SAP Archiving. The solution will be designed to be scalable for future initiatives. You will apply functional knowledge and technical expertise in the designing of systems to support customer needs and you will contribute to the successful outcome of the Customers SAP Retail Archiving project. The Open Text Application Architect will produce high quality solution designs which address all architectural concerns including business, information, application and infrastructure. The architect's designs will align with business blueprints, delivery constraints, enterprise business application strategies and infrastructure standards. The architect is accountable for the delivery of design solutions that enhance application functionality, flexibility, scalability and high-performance. My client's customer Retail Archiving project will archive technical and business data from SAP ISU and CRM to open Text system.
Required Skill set/Background:
Must Have:
10+ years of experience as a Solution Architect with a minimum 5 years of architectural experience with Open Text Application for SAP archiving (Archive Server).
Certified Open Text Consultant.
At least 3 end to end implementations of Open Text Application for SAP Archiving.
Demonstrated ability to design Open Text systems for SAP archiving in a virtual, high available clustered environment.
Demonstrated ability in sizing Open Text Systems SAP archiving.
Demonstrated ability to design security for Open Text systems.
Demonstrated ability in designing, installing, commissioning Open Text archive Servers.
Experience in designing Open Text system for disaster recovery
Excellent communication skills.
Nice to Have:
Ability to articulate strategy and direction for technology and architecture throughout the organization to support Archiving Project.
Excellent analytic and problem solving skills.
Experience working in a Matrix managed environment.
Experience of designing & commissioning Open Text Systems(Archive Server) in the following environment:
o Database: Microsoft SQL Server 2008R2 64 Bit --
o OS: Microsoft Windows 2008R2 64 Bit --
o Virtualisation: VMware ESXIi 4.1 --
o High Availability: Microsoft Cluster Services --
o Disaster Recovery: Site Recovery manager (SRM) --
Experience in training and transition to support --
Experience/capability to scale the design/solution to other Open Text products like Document Management, Email Archiving etc.-
