Financial Analyst - Banking - London - Up to £388 per day
A leading UK retail bank requires Financial Analyst to join their team based in London on a 6 month contract.
This role will be suited to an accountant with a background of both financial reporting and change in a UK bank.
You will be required to develop mappings from source files to the new group reporting systems, with a particular focus on combined finance and risk data required to support regulatory reporting.
Tasks include:
- Liaise with business experts to understand business data sources and how these might map to the data structures for the new group reporting system.
- Support the development of mapping tables using the above knowledge.
- Support the testing of the mappings from the source systems to the new group systems.
- To be considered you will have a strong understanding of account and regulatory reporting in financial services. You must be a qualified accountant with strong understanding of Basel II reporting and risk. Strong stakeholder relationship management and negotiating skills are also essential.
- Knowledge of SAP BFC, SAP general ledgers and SAP BW/BI is desired. Experience of preparing statutory and regulatory reports for a bank is also advantageous.
