Description
A leading global manufacturer of electrical and electronic components for the aerospace and automotive market sectors are seeking an additional Validation Engineer within their projects and testing grouping.
The role has many aspects including the design of Environmental and EMC test plans,(mainly for automotive Powertrain products);the development of hardware and software test products to be utilised;executing the testing itself and documenting subsequent results.
Educated to degree level or equivalent with a knowledge of electronic and electrical circuitry, you will be familiar with both environmental and EMC test specifications, ideally with automotive or aerospace sector specific experience. It is essential to be able to interpret technical and test specifications, be able to analyse where improvements can be made and recommend remedial and contingency procedures accordingly. With a high level of energy you will be a natural communicator able to build strong working relations with internal manufacturing, research and design groups alike.
