My client is currently looking for an interim Category Manager. The ideal candidate will have Food industry experience and demonstrated ability within FMCG
.
This is an opportunity to become a critical member of the Category Development team. You will be leading a team to deliver consistent category growth and help deliver point of purchase objectives within leading national retailers. You will design customer category plans working closely with retailers to drive profitable growth of the category and subsequently organisation's portfolio of products.
Responsibilities include:
* Making strategic and tactical recommendations to meet customer goals and category management requirements.
* Driving excellence and innovation whilst identifying and taking advantage of opportunities and retail trends.
* Maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with Buyers, Buying Controllers, Category Strategy Controllers, Account Managers by providing a high level of category management expertise.
* Increasing share at distribution points through winning at category reviews, securing NPD incrementally, range windows and driving additional formats, such as front of store, convenience.
* Evaluating activity and make recommendations to increase effectiveness and in store implementation.
