Description
VBS2 Software Engineer required to support the Training and Simulation Services division to work specifically on the VBS2 (Virtual Battlespace 2) training software. This is a cutting edge Virtual Battlespace simulation and you will be part of a multi-disciplined team developing simulation systems, driven by a mixture of serious games and in-house technology, for use in distributed military training.
The successful candidate will have particular expertise in in the design and development of VBS2 simulations systems and VBS2 Scripting. Ideally with experience of development of C++/c#/Java software, openGL, GUI development and networking applications. Experience with Scripting languages is desirable. Experience of military vehicle simulation and delivering projects to ISO 9001 TickIT software processes. Scripting language and advantage. Hold a good degree in an engineering related discipline and Ability to learn complex concepts quickly on the job.
