Title: Oracle OBIEE Architect

Position Summary
CCCi's client has an immediate, long term contract opportunity for an Oracle OBIEE Architect. The BI Architect role (lead professional) will be responsible for OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence) technology ownership within our client's Business Intelligence Design Team. This position will help define the strategic technology direction of OBIEE and drive the strategy's implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive the OBIEE technology strategy through the evaluation of current and new OBIEE versions as they relate to meeting business requirements and their implementation on the best available platforms
- Partner with BI Team Leaders and business users to communicate the BI strategy and implementation plan, incorporating the technology strategies of products integrated with Business Intelligence solutions.
- Direct the execution of the OBIEE strategy and is accountable for successful completion of all design work in the technology space
- Work closely and assist with associated vendors to ensure timely remediation of operational issues
- Lead the analysis, requirements, design, development, implementation, documentation and maintenance of our client's BI solutions following the Four D and AIM methodologies
- In conjunction with BI team lead, investigate ways to reduce BI design and development Cycle Time without impacting operational excellence
- Provide technical and project leadership function for assigned BI projects
- Ensure appropriate linkages with applications and to other data processing systems
- Provide fault isolation and resolution, configuration and tuning for optimum performance, and implement disaster recovery and contingency plans
- Provide technical expertise and counsel to management, other organizations, and special projects personnel
- Estimate costs and schedules, recommend resource required and solutions to problems, which arise during the course of a project
- Serve as a primary interface with internal and external contributing organizations for technical requirements, direction, and problem resolution
- Collaborate with management in developing technical directions, setting objectives, and setting realistic and challenging goals
- Formulate plans to achieve overall goals, technical requirements, schedules, and contract commitments for assigned tasks
Basic Requirements:
- Hands on OBIEE candidate with strong understanding of the data warehousing, transactional and dimensional modelling, and end-to-end analysis of OBIEE issues
- Extremely strong in OBIEE Metadata development
- Should have experience and knowledge of OBIEE architecture
- Experience with pre-built OBIEE RPD METADATA process for OBIEE
- Should have OBIEE dashboard development skills
- Should have good understanding on ETL
- Database experience in SQL Server 2008
- Strong knowledge of Transact SQL, stored procedures, functions
- Expert OBIEE metadata configuration ability
- Front End UI experience
- 5+ years of experience
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with SalesForce.com is a significant plus
- Experience in Hyperion Essbase and Applications a significant plus
