Position Summary

CCCi's client has an immediate 3 month contract opportunity for a Microsoft Exchange Migration Consultant. Our client is undergoing a migration from GroupWise to Exchange 2010 and rolling out Outlook 2007. They are in need of a technical project manager to guide the existing team through the project and uncover and resolve any issues or pitfalls that may come about during the process. The selected individual will not need to have GroupWise experience necessarily, but does need to have managed similar migrations in the past. Deep MS Exchange knowledge is also required. The primary responsibilities will include the support and planning of customer's current and future Windows based server systems as it relates to Messaging/Exchange mail system.

Basic Requirements
- Previous experience with migrations to Exchange 2010
- Experinece migrating GroupWise 8.0 to MS Exchange 2010 is required
- Extensive knowledge of PowerShell Scripting required
- Experience with migration tools like Quest or Messgaing Architects preferred
- Extensive experience supporting Exchange 2007 environments
- Experience building CCR and SCR clustering for high availability and disaster recovery
- Experience with Exchange hosted filtering or other filtering knowledge
- Experience with Exchange in multiple forests is a plus
- Experience supporting Windows Server
- Monitor systems and network for general health and performance and issues
- Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, WINS and Domain Services experience
- Adaptability to multi-task and work under deadlines
- Knowledge/experience with Public Folders is required.
- Experience with Exchange Management Tools (EMC, ADUC, EMS, etc.)
- Experience with migration from one Exchange organization to another.
- Knowledge/experience with Outlook 2007
- Knowledge/experience with SharePoint
- Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work with users; explain technical issues to non-technical users
- Ability to analyze data and develop action plans.

Other
- Out of town candidates must work onsite Monday - Friday. No telecommuting option.
