Description
My client seeks a senior finance IT project manager to work on an accounting rules engine project.
The bank has chosen to move to Front Office driven accounting away from its Back Office driven processes; thus resulting in traceability and less reconciliation issues with the Front Office.
The project manager will deliver the IT implementation of the accounting rules engine into the various asset class work streams.
The PM will be responsible for:
- Terms of engagement
- Planning
- Requirements
- managing relationships with IT owners of up-stream, down-stream systems and reference data.
- the "Build Phase" of the project
- Drive and oversee the Test Strategyand approach
- Technical Documentation
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
Experience of working on product control or financial control projects is essential.
Knowledge of Global Markets traded products and trade-life-cycles and processing flows.
PM skills across full project life cycle.
