Engine Build and Test Technician
My Client, a Leading OEM based in Derby is looking to recruit an experienced Engine Build and test Technician to join their team working on production and prototype engines.
Responsibilities
- Build, strip and test rigging of engine development tests, maintaining test cells, ensuring proper installation, calibration and cleanliness. identifying problems and resolving them.
- responsible for the use of test equipment
- preparation and installation
- operation and regulation during the execution of tests
- measurements, buil and strip
- attention to detail
- PC literate
- able to share experience and knowledge
Ideal Qualities
- Able to communicate and mentor the other members of the team
- experience of ATI, VISU and test bed controllers
- Test bed experience
Desireable
- HNC, ONC
