Beacon Hill Technologies has an opportunity on the east side of Cleveland for a Software Engineer with C++ and C# experience. This is a contract position expected to last 3 months with a strong possibility for extension.

Position Summary:

Software Engineer engaged in the testing and debugging of existing systems. A successful candidate for this position will be capable of investigating and identifying bugs in existing systems, detailing the issues in defect reports, and then fixing the problems if required.

This engineer will be assigned two projects. One project will require the person to implement, test and debug support for an existing automated system. The other project will requires this person to write/execute test plans and fix bugs identified in complex integrated systems.

Qualifications/Experience:

* Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering with a minimum of 3-5 years software systems design and integration experience encompassing all areas of the software life cycle
- 5+ years designing and developing C/C++ and C#
- 3+ years developing Client Server and web-based application development
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies
- Strong ability to understand and debug complex software systems with little supervision
- Strong knowledge of software engineering methodology
- Familiarity with database development using Microsoft SQL Server products is essential
- Excellent customer interface, analytical and presentation skills
- Previous experience working in global organization as well as a Matrix organization
- Motivated self starter, able to work independently towards objectives-, and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
