DESCRIPTION:
Our client requires the services of a Security Specialist, to provide deliverables including, but not limited to, the following:
Assignment Duties:
Support the development of the strategy and implementation plan for PCI compliance. Development of the strategy and implementation plan for the corporate information security education, training and awareness program. Provide subject matter expertise and support to the leads of the following RM&IS areas of responsibility; Information Security, IT Risk Management and Business Continuity. Direct staff in identifying, developing, implementing and maintaining processes across the organization to reduce information and (IT) risks, responds to incidents, establish appropriate standards and controls, and direct the establishment and implementation of policies and procedures as directed. Qualifications and Experience:
Experience with information security strategic planning (8+ years) Experience with PCI compliance (5+ years) Experience with Information Security program development, including IT vulnerability management, virus management, Firewall management and network configuration (7+ years) Experience working in the government sector, or similar large matrixed environment. (5+ years) Security designation (CISA, CISSP, CRISC & CIPP) or combination of experience. Preference will be given to candidates who possess all of the listed certifications. Certifications must be current 10+ years of general information security (Management) experience Experience in the planning and execution of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning and testing activities (5+ years) Experience planning and conducting IT investigations (4+ years) Experience planning and conducting IT security audits, and the coordination of response and remediation activities (6+ years) NOTE: No overseas or U.S. applicants please.
