Our client is a globally recognised IT vendor and is currently seeking an experienced Japanese speaking Level 1 IT Support Engineer to be based at their West Pennant Hills office.

This role will include providing level 1 support to their client, a well known international financial institution, via telephone and email on a rostered basis between the hours of 9am-10pm Monday to Friday. Their client is based in Japan, hence the need to be able to communicate fluently in Japanese, both written and verbal. This main duties of this role include;
Answering 35 to 50 calls per day providing 1st level application support.
Answer calls within 30 seconds and solve 70% at first contact.
Monitor email queues and back up for 2nd level queues.
Problem determination to identify, resolve, or escalate end-user problems in a multi-processing environment of complex systems and/or applications.
Documentation of all problems, status updates, and resolution for tracking and trending analysis.
Required to work a rotating roster and provide hours that are in-country for the accounts supported

In order to successfully obtain this position, you will possess the following abilities;
Fluent English and Japanese communication abilities
Problem solving abilities
Previous experience using Lotus Notes and MS Suite
Previous experience in an IT support role
