Force Liaison Manager required to work within central government. London based with travel required. The assignment has come about as part of the work under the National Cyber Security Program. An company has been tasked to remove all recording of crime and crime related information in regard of fraud and financially motivated cyber crime from the police and to handle this work. This change has necessitated considerable changes to the Home Office Counting Rules for police recorded crime This role will provide the key force liaison work to ensure that forces are aware of exactly what the changes are and their obligations under it and to ensure a smooth transition to the new arrangements. These changes have significant impact on force crime recording systems and the way that front line contact have in reporting fraud and economic cyber crime. It is essential to provide a consistent to service to the victims of these crime types. Create a roll out engagement plan which details the approach to force engagement. Own and develop the force roll out strategy. Meet with all teams Force Crime registrars and press officers to introduce the transition requirements. Negotiate preparation, go live and review dates. Report regularly to the Fraud operations board and join management board. The role reports to the Head and has no direct reports. They will however have to liaise with project teams, colleagues and stakeholders from all forces. Engagement plan at the end of month 1 engagement in line with plan. All forces prepared in line with plan Monthly reporting. Reviewed strategy by the end of month 1. It is essential that the role holder will need to be either a current or former senior police officer of at least chief superintendent rank. Security clearance to CTC or SC will be required unless already a holder.

Skills Required
Essential Skills: Demonstrable experience of working at a senior and independent level. Writing skills including reports, strategy and policy documents.

Desirable Skills: Understanding of fraud and economic crime Cyber or e-crime experience
