When checking if a trade is done or not, which ION chain should you check?
This is an ION MarketView support developer position for a leading global investment bank. This is a desk-facing position, and my client is expecting the successful candidate to have a strong experience covering 1st and 2nd line support. Candidates who have come from a development background will also be considered.
You will be part of a close-knit team on the floor, with lots of interaction between the traders, support analysts, developers, business analysts, etc. There is also a great deal of contact with senior management in this fast-paced role. This is a business-backed position.
Knowledge of MarketView is key, and candidates who can fully support this will be suitable for this role. Please be aware: this is not a desktop support position. Candidates will be expected to know how to configure all aspects of ION MarketView.

Responsibilities for the eTrade ION MarketView Support Developer - Tier One Investment Bank - London
- MarketView support/development in a Front Office team
- Support the traders with the queries on pricing, request for quotations (RFQs), etc
- Working on the European and government swaps desks
The Person eTrade ION MarketView Support Developer - Tier One Investment Bank - London
- Must have MarketView support experience, but candidates can come from a development/business analyst position
- Knowledge of Unix, SQL, etc.
- Experience in a Front Office environment
My client is looking to interview immediately, and has the headcount to take on the successful candidate as soon as possible.
