One of Australia's largest retailers is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join their team on a large scale implementation project. Based in Western Sydney you will join this flagship project to facilitate the process between business and IT stakeholders to elicit, analyse, communicate, validate and test the requirements for changes to business processes, policies and systems, and to ensure that the developed process or technical solution meets the needs of the business unit. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a household name company, with a very good chance that this will turn into a long term contract. Experience required:- Ideally several years minimum SAP experience - SAP IS Retail experience highly regarded
- Proven experience in analysing business & IT opportunities and documenting business requirements within an SAP environment
- Intermediate level business case development experience;
- Ability to build relationships with end-users and within IT;
- Excellent personal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills;
- Experience in assisting facilitating workshops;
- Ability to negotiate, persuade and influence others;
- Good understanding of applications development life cycle;
- Good understanding of SAP project management principles;
- Experience in similar role or tertiary qualification in IT or Business desirable.
This is an initial 3 month contract but the project is expected to run for the next 2 years so there is a strong possibility for extension.
