SUPPLY CONTRACTS MANAGER, STEVENAGE, SAP, ESA CONTRACTS, 8 MONTH CONTRACT

The Role:
*To provide Supply Contracts support to the project teams, ensuring the programme contractual requirements are captured and in order to meet the project timescales in a space related business.
ESSENTIALS:
oContracts or Legal experience in an engineering project industry, preferably in Space-related business.
oGood knowledge of contracts terms and conditions, understanding of legal implications.
oExperience of working with subcontractors and suppliers.
oExperience of contract negotiation.
oGood interpersonal and communication skills, team player.
oWell organised, capacity to work with autonomy within the respect procedures and objectives.
oComfortable with working in a pressurised environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
oGenerate internal purchase orders to administrate the Supply Contacts in SAP.
oMaintain a good understanding of relevant legislation and practices associated with Equipment subcontracting activities.
oParticipate to the improvement of processes and the deployment of best practices related to the Equipment Supply Contracts Management, in liaison with the other AXS team members.
oEnsure flow-down from prime contracts and implementation of the relevant contractual and commercial polices in all supply contracts documents.
oCo-ordinate with the Commodity Managers for the issue of Request For Proposal (RFP), generate the draft supply contract and the RFP cover letter.
oPerform the evaluation of supplier proposals regarding contractual and commercial aspects and provide inputs to the Tender Evaluation Board.
oLead the signature process for all Supply Contract documents.
oSupport the preparation and issue of intra-company and their inter-company work orders.
oFollow-up invoicing and payment process and status.
oMaintain Supply Contracts status log and distribute for monthly reporting.
