Experis, a world leader in the workforce solutions has an immediate need for a SQL Developer to work with our client's IT financial analyst team. This team was recently tasked with the responsibility of gathering all the financial data for every line of business within the company (a lot of data!) inputting the data into the database and then making it usable to business analysts within the company -end client is internal. This particular position will be charged with creating, maintaining and enhancing the current SQL data information from the database using T-SQL and SSIS. This will be a 6 month renewable contract located in Atlanta, GA.
The majority of this consultants time will be spent creating and maintaining the data tables so a great understanding/experience handling large volumes of data, how it needs to be used, ability to manipulate the data in order to yield desired results is extremely important for the appropriate candidate to possess. They must possess a very strong T-SQL knowledge which will be tested. This group is mostly comprised of SQL developers and analysts who work very closely together thus the ability to collaborate and contribute ideas beyond the scope of the position is extremely important.
Nice experience in the following areas would be a plus but is not mandatory for the position or candidate to have: knowledge of SSAS (building cubes and MDX queries), some .NET development with creating aspx web pages and working with web controls, SSRS reports (creating and maintaining), and Tableau reports.
