Our client, a global leader in the field of personal and business insurance, is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a 6-month contract job joining a team managing a variety of simultaneous projects as part of a large-scale program. This program will be affecting front-line staff and as such the role requires a high-degree of expertise in change management.
This senior project manager must have at least six years experience managing various projects in preferably P&C or commercial lines. This role will require in-depth, high-level understanding of insurance terminology and processes. The projects that this role will engage in will be primarily business focused with a technology focus on the periphery.
The ideal candidate will have a high degree of initiative and the ability to work independently. At times this will require working with a team of managers, at other times managing various team members. The ability of this project manager to both mentor and motivate those under their direction will be a key component in success within this role.
