Are you looking for a new role within an established global organisation?We are looking for a experienced Project Manager to work within this dynamic global IT services organisation and be part of a high profile project! Our client is urgently requiring an experienced Project Manager to service one of their clients, who are one of Australia's largest Telco organisations.This role will be based in Docklands is an initial 6 month contract with view to permanency!
To be considered for the role you will ideally have:
- Previous end to end Project Management experience within the IT or Telco industry is a must
- Ability to develop and foster relationship, particularly in the construction and telco industries.
- Experienced in managing sub-contractors and external suppliers (experience with Urban development projects, town planning, pit and pipe planning and construction is highly desirable).
- Preferably experienced in managing external plant, civil engineering projects, or with Telco infrastructure experience
- Preferred PM experience with roll out of telecommunication infrastructure projects.
- Project Manager accreditation (ie PMBOK, PRINCE 2) will be highly regarded.
You key responsibilities will include:
- Receive Development requests and liaise with various stakeholders to develop an agreed project schedule.
- Manage and plan resources to ensure appropriate resources are scheduled and assigned to projects as per agreed schedules.
- Develop and manage a project risk plan, and ensure mitigation activities are implemented as appropriate.
- Attend Site meetings where/when necessary.
- Ensure project documentation and reporting is maintained to the organisation's/clients standards as well as ensure regular project progress review meetings are held.
- Track changes to the development projects, and ensure these are costed, approved, agreed, and communicated between the relevant parties,
