Oracle Developer, Oracle 10G, Oracle 11G, SQL, PL/SQL
Oracle Developer required for my NHS client who is Proficient in Software Development -expertise equivalent to degree level in the design, development, and maintenance of Oracle databases to meet the complex business needs . The candidate must be Proficient in Oracle 10g/11g, SQL and PL/SQL - expertise equivalent to degree level in the following: the ability to query complex data using SQL and to be aware of SQL tuning techniques; experience of creating database objects (tables, views, types, packages etc); writing PL/SQL program units; ability to rapidly understand and analyse existing software and it's objects' dependencies with a view to developing the software furthe.
Essential
1. At least 5 years experience in the following key activities:
a. Database design;
b. Database development;
c. Delivering appropriate solutions that meet the business requirements;
d. Produce and review specifications and other documentation;
2. At least 3 years experience in the following key activities:
a. Oracle Development using PL/SQL and SQL in a 10g/11g environment using Data Modeller, TOAD and other development tools;
b. Reviewing and tuning SQL and PL/SQL code ;
c. Supporting Oracle database systems;
