Candle is seeking a field engineer to work on a paid per call basis (Melbourne vicinity). The primary focus of the role is onsite desktop support in a Field Service Capacity. You will be paid for every job you close, paid per km and paid a monthly car allowance so the harder you work the more money you make. YOU DECIDE!The successful candidates will have the following duties:
- Desktop support
- Build/Re-image PC s/laptops with SOE build discs
- Desktop Break and Fix
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues
- Configure Network printers and add printers to PC's in a network
- Cleanup PC's with antivirus and anti-spyware programs
- Limited skill level of Hardware/Software & also follows scripts to complete disc builds.
- Products: Front & Back Office (retail, Hospitality) PC s.
- Understands importance of service to customers business. Is aware of internal customers, and impact of service
- quality on their business.
- Able to establish quick working relationships with customers.
- Communication-listening, ability to communicate clearly with customers, colleagues and managers.
- Individuals need to have had some practical experience within a hardware environment, before taking on this role.
- Completion of Customer Care Programme.
- Completion of Generic Programme or equivalent experience.
- Desktop accreditation desirable or equivalent experience.
- Willing to learn about unfamiliar products
Finally you will have a current full driving license, and be able to travel to multiple locations throughout Melbourne.
