Description
Our client are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join the team on a 6 month initial contract.The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: -
*Creates and modifies technical drawings arising from Engineering Change Orders or projects.
*Assists in preparation and incorporation of ECOs.
*Contributes design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation or quality of product.
*Checks drawing plots versus the project input for correctness and conformance to standards.
*Works with engineers regarding model accuracy, design, drafting standards and ECO documentation.
*Cost reduction initiatives.
The successful candidate will have experience with the following: -
*Good working knowledge of AutoCAD
*Good working knowledge of ProE Wildfire/Wind-Chill
*Good working knowledge of Intralink
*Working to tight deadlines
*Able to take initiative and work unsupervised.
