Currently our customer has installed and running the Accounts Payable Module (APM), Oracle version 11i. They recently completed a very large project where the new module was put in place. This role will act to help clean up some of the outstanding work that is currently in the queue to be done. This person will be overseeing and leading smaller projects around the APM module that are scheduled to be completed. This individual will be expected to meet with business customers and internal BA's to understand the need, be able to marshal resources and understand timelines, and then take the initiative to get projects completed. This position will call for a candidate who has the "polish" to join a project already in progress and pick up some of the large loose ends. This is a very strategic project for our customer and they need to get these smaller projects done correctly.

The chosen consultant will be expected to work with numerous internal teams and partners to solve issues and drive projects installation. There is a backlog of projects that need to be tackled that cannot be resolved with the current team. The unique ability to take ownership of a problem and get it resolved is very critical for this role. While team support is there, this is very much an individual contributor role.

The consultant will have to act as a business analyst to understand the problem, a functional resource to see how it impacts the system, a technical person to know where the problem is and a project manager to resolve the issue and make sure it is completed.

Duration - The initial contract will be for 3 months with the possibility of extending for the approximate length of the project slated for one year.
