Title: Installation Supervisor

Position Summary
CCCi's client has an immediate need for 5 to 7 Installation Supervisors for a 4 to 6 month contract opportunity. The responsibilities include leading a team of onsite technicians to replace multiple Switches at each site for a large retailer. The sites are located nationwide, and the positions will require 90% travel. The installations will be required to be done during off hours, so the anticipated work schedule will be between the hours of 10:00pm or 11:00pm to 6:00am to 7:00am (site dependent). The selected supervisors will be hands on leads, ensuring the timely and proper completion of the installation of MDF and IDF Switches at each site, leading a team of onsite technicians through the process. The client will provide all travel and living expenses for the duration of the contract, and provide a company cell phone.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Leading/supervising a team of onsite installation technicians
- Ensuring the proper and timely installation of (6) Switches per site (MDF & IDF Switches)
- Each site will be a fairly standard set up, but could require some Punch Down and Patch work, and potentially, additional cabling
- De-installation of existing equipment
- Cabinet Replacement
- The Switches will be configured at the company's headquarters and sent to the respective locations for installation. However, some ad-hoc configuration may be required (site dependent)
Basic Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of Networking experience
- 3 to 4 years in a lead or supervisory role
- Ability to work after hours
- Net+ Certification
- Experience with commercial network cabling
- Experience with patch panel and punch down projects
- Solid knowledge of MDF and IDF Switching technologies
- Previous installation experience of switching technologies
Preferred Requirements
- Experience performing installations during the off hours
- History as a road warrior
