Supply chain and logistics company with offices in Portland, OR is in need of a Sr. Oracle eBusiness Developer. In this role you will be responsible for the development in an Oracle Applications eBusiness environment in terms of design and development of Oracle based custom applications, interfaces, reports, and data conversions. Strong previous experience developing solution to business requirements that require working with forms, reporting, PL/SQL packages/procedures based programming for data conversions and interface development around Oracle EBS modules such as GL, AP,AR, PO and FA required. Also desired is experience with Oracle Workflow Builder and JDeveloper and developing workflow, Business Events or OAF customization in an Oracle Application environment. Must be highly knowledgeable in the underlying Oracle Technology Stack and Oracle Applications database architecture with regard to E-business Suite module schemas/products, standard (API's) application program interfaces, data elements, tables, and views as basis for troubleshooting, data conversion, interfaces, reporting and development.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in and drive the design, development and maintenance of modifications/customizations of the Oracle Applications eBusiness suite (Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, Discoverer queries) and deploying such modification/customization in Oracle eBusiness environment.
Participate in the design, development and maintenance of interfaces to and from the Oracle E-business Applications and external applications.
Participate in process analysis, process design, mapping, and process/software gap analysis.
Deploying concurrent processes and custom development in Oracle Applications eBusiness Suite with use of System Administration and Application Developer module.
Develop technical design and documentation of Oracle Applications dependent data conversions, interfaces, custom reporting, and custom applications including use of documented revision control.
Open, manage, and resolve Oracle TAR's with Oracle Support.
Manage and resolve service tickets for internal customers.
Drive the resolution & troubleshooting of issues during development and post production support.
Create test scripts performing unit testing.
Resolve bug fixes within the SLAs outlined.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Prior experienced working on Oracle Applications implementation.
Advanced Oracle Technical Knowledge and development skills and development standards knowledge.
Knowledge and understanding of information processing principles and practices.
Knowledge in core enterprise infrastructure.
Application/Infrastructure Lifecycle knowledge, specifically Oracles AIM methodology.
Data Modeling and Mapping.
IT Compliance.
University degree or equivalent work experience in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or other related field.
At least 7 years experience developing on the Oracle eBusiness Application suite.
Experience of Oracle Development tools including:
1. Oracle PL/SQL.
2. Oracle Workflow Builder.
3. Oracle Reports.
4. XML or BI Publisher.
5. Oracle Application Framework Customizations and Personalization is a plus but not required.
6. SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) Concepts and BPEL Process is a plus but not required.
Experience with Oracle R12 E-business Suite modules such as GL,AP,AR,PO,&FA - highly desired.
