Description
Stable client located in the Cumberland area is seeking a C++ Developer in Unix/Linux Messaging Environment. Developer will provide Technical Design, Development and System Support for custom messaging systems including: WEB, Back End Servers and Database applications on Unix/Linux.
Requirements:
- Shell Script programming in UNIX environment is a must. Understanding of web Servers (Apache, tomcat) is a plus.
- Good understanding of Database concepts (Oracle 10g) is helpful. Minimal travel may be required.
- Will require 24 hours on call duties and carrying pagers, cell phone or like devices if/when perm.
- Software Engineering degree helpful, BS degree required.
- 7+ years of experience in software development on UNIX/Linux.
- 5+ years of C++ environment is a must.
- 2+ years of experience development in Java helpful.
- 1+ years of detail development for SMTP helpful.
- 2+ years of SNMP helpful.
