Description
This nationwide industry leader has an immediate 12 month contract opening in Plano for a WebSphere Portal Administrator. Will create working comps and rapidly prototype UI concepts (Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop). Will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating the Front End web experience with talented application developers. Will create and maintain pages, navigation blocks, and portlets. Will also create and set delegated administration permissions for sites, membership groups, and navigation items, and set up folder structure in Document Libraries.
Required Qualifications:
- WebSphere Portal Administration experience
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or IT.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and DHTML.
- Solid working knowledge in CSS.
- Strong experience in graphic design, UI, site usability and x/HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Flash production.
- Prefer proficiency in Flash (including ActionScript).
- Must have strong problem assessment and solving ability.
