SUPPORT CONTRACTS OFFICER
My client designs, builds and manufactures state of the art satellite systems for the Aerospace and Defence industry.
We have a requirement to provide contract support to the project teams, ensuring the programme contractual requirements are captured and in place in order to meet the project timescales.
- Generate internal purchase orders to administrate the Supply Contracts in SAP.
- Lead the signature process for all Supply Contracts documents.
- Maintain Supply Contracts status log and distribute for monthly reporting.
- Occasional travel may be required in the future within Europe for short trips.
ESSENTIAL:
- Contracts or legal experience in an engineering project industry, preferably in Space-related business.
- Good knowledge of contract terms and conditions, understanding of legal implications.
- Experience of working with subcontractor supplies.
- Experience of contract negotiation.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, team player.
- Analytical skills
- Well organised, capacity to work with autonomy within the respect of internal procedures and objectives.
- Comfortable with working in a pressurized environment.
- Degree in Law or Business or demonstrated previous experience in a similar position.
This is ideally suited to someone who has about 2 years experience preferably within an engineering environment.
