Drupal Technology Director

Our client needs an experienced Technology Director to provide leadership to their growing accounts in the Atlanta office.
They are looking for someone who is passionate about quality, innovative, a leader, and a problem solver. You will be engaging with clients to analyze their business problems, and then develop and implement innovative technical solutions for them. You will partner with other departments to help assure that the software development projects are on track and tailored to the client's needs.
You will be responsible for technical leadership, and also support new business efforts. You must have deep technical skills and experience interacting and building relationships with senior level external clients as well as operational and team leadership experience at a digital agency or as a consultant.
Technical Requirements:
- 4+ Yrs Drupal Experience as Developer or Architect
- Experience with High Traffic, Drupal Based Web Applications
- Knowledge of Drupal Architecture, Scaling Drupal, optimizing and tuning, and SEO
- Web Security Experience - Handling the Security layer in Drupal
- Integrating Drupal with 3rd Party Libraries and Platforms
- Ability to tune and complete LAMP stack for optimized returns
- Clear understanding of Drupal Models
- Experience with CCK's, views, panels, blocks, and API's
- Strong Leadership, Communication, Management, and Decision Making Skills
Preferred Skills:
- Interactive Media Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science
- Experience as Technology Consultant
Required Experience:
- Experience as primary technical liaison with customers
- Experience managing multiple global development teams.
- Experience Consulting with customers to share technology-related knowledge, business process enhancements, and best practices.
- Client focused: evaluating briefs and proposals and assuring they meet the needs of the client and set realistic expectations.
- Ongoing management of live systems, in collaboration with client, Quality Assurance resources, as well as technology, creative and design groups internally. (answering emails and delegating emergency work to developers off hours and weekends)
- Experience bringing innovative technologies and strategies to clients from the initial discover phase to the final client delivery and handoff.
- Experience recommending and implementing custom solutions and COTS packages. Specific experience with Drupal, PHP, and other open source technology is desired
- Excellent interpersonal, communications, and presentation skills and experience building and maintaining client relationships.
- Experience managing teams; achieve performance goals, resolving conflicts, mentoring and developing others.
