Define and maintain accounting policy in so far as it applies to Group IT Finance
Act as deputy to the Finance director of Group IT in appropriate meetings, Ownership of key Initiatives and projects. Leading Group IT in the Cost Management Unit (CMU) initiative - This project was initiated by the new CEO of the Bank with the primary aim of consolidating the accountabilities of the Bank's cost base. Once complete this will significantly improve the way costs are managed and reported in the Bank - with tangible cost savings as a result. The FC will be responsible for IT Costs, which is 13% of the Bank's total cost base (second only to staff costs).
