Quality Assurance (Testing) Team Lead will provide leadership, management, and support for a team of QA Testing Analysts. This manager will be responsible for the planning, direction, and coordination of QA Testing activities. The lead will provide effective and efficient planning, resource alignment, and execution of test plans, test scripts, and test conditions to ensure high-quality delivery of the company's systems development and integration initiatives.

The QA Testing Team Lead will be engaged throughout the IT project life cycle and will develop test strategies and approaches for assigned projects. Provide leadership and coordinate with Application Development Management and Release Management to ensure proper allocation and scheduling of testing resources across multiple releases and testing environments. Provide testing effort estimates based upon project scope, complexity, and testability. React quickly and take the initiative to address impacts of changing project priorities, schedules, and requirements. Partner with Quality Compliance to ensure processes are followed, measured, and improved.

Successful candidate will-
- Provide leadership and support for a team of QA Testing Analysts. Oversee and plan multiple concurrent testing efforts effectively utilizing resources to ensure successful testing and delivery of high-quality technology solutions for the company. Ensure proper staffing levels to meet project demands. Establish goals and objectives for staff that support performance indicators for both the IT department and the company. Conduct performance reviews for staff.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with IT Business Analysts, Developers, Release Management as well as business unit representatives and Project Managers.
- Maintain and evaluate testing metrics that provide insight into development and testing effectiveness and efficiency. Actively participate in continuous process improvement activities.
- Participate in selection and implementation of testing tools, technologies, and techniques.
- Apply testing standards, guidelines, and best practices aligned with compliance guidelines and IT goals.
- Possess team management and supervisory skills to effectively lead QA Testing Analysts and activities in the delivery of the company's IT applications.
- Effectively balance long-term goals and short-term business needs in a fast-paced environment and growing company.
- Define critical testing objectives. Schedule, estimate, plan, and oversee testing efforts.
- Provide direction regarding the use of methods and tools for developing a comprehensive, repeatable set of test scripts for key applications to ensure thorough testing.
- Possess excellent communication and partnering skills to develop effective relationships with other leaders and key stakeholders in business units, project teams, IT, and operations in enabling the successful testing and delivery of IT solutions for the business.
- Provide ad-hoc management reporting, data gathering, and analysis as needed.

Requirements-
- 7+ years experience as a QA Testing Analyst.
- 3+ years experience managing multiple QA testing project activities within medium to large projects and/or 5+ years of experience as an IT Manager.
- 3+ years using test/defect management tools such as Quality Center or other tools.
- 3+ years experience with performance and automated testing approaches and tools.
- Experience leading and coordinating offshore testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
- Able to manage risks, issues, project schedules, and resource planning.
- Excellent leadership and partnering skills. Ability to work effectively with technical and business unit representatives.
- Working knowledge of business requirements analysis and traceability.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and existing business functions and recommend alternative testing approaches, methods, and tools.
- Working knowledge of SDLC and agile software development methodologies as applicable for business analysis, development, and testing activities.
- Proficiency with desktop applications. (Outlook mail and calendaring, MS Office applications).
- Telecommunications experience preferred
- Bachelors Degree

Top 3-5 must have skills-
