This is a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional IT Support Officer with 2 years or more experience in application support to work in a dynamic environment with a broad range of technical opportunities. This is an excellent chance to work with a huge variety of applications in a constantly evolving environment supporting a mission critical system.  
 
As the IT Support Officer you must:
  • Have a degree or equivalent in a computer related field.
  • Good knowledge of Windows Servers, Desktop operating systems, and networks
  • Enthusiasm, good interpersonal skills, aptitude for learning and the ability to think laterally will be key to success in this position.
  • Well developed written & verbal communication skills.
  • Good problem solving skills.
Desirable criteria:
  • Exposure to GP software Medical Director, Best Practice, S4S, Genie or similar would be highly beneficial as you will be working in depth with these technologies.
  • Data/System interfacing
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise with all professionals and consumers in the service, within the hospital, and within the community.
  • Ability to work in a Multidisciplinary Team.
  • Experience working in an ITIL environment.
