Link Technologies is looking for a Project Manager for a one year contract in Las Vegas, NV.

Duties

Collect & Review Project Documents: Compile relevant historical and baseline documents, including contracts, estimates, budgets, schedules, cash flows, permits, environmental documents, correspondence and logs.

Schedule Control Review & Analysis: Conduct a review of historical, baseline, and current schedules to ensure compliance with contract and permit requirements. Perform an analysis of best and worst case scenario based upon project status. Draft the monthly executive summary report, including analysis of schedule risks, variances and projections.

Cost Control Review & Analysis: Conduct a review of historical, baseline and current costs to ensure compliance with contract, cash flow and other obligations. Perform an analysis of best and worst case scenario based upon actual costs. Draft the monthly executive summary report, including analysis of budget risks, variances and projections.

Monitor and Manage Risk: Assess ongoing risks including those with potential to impact project safety, quality, schedule, budget and cash flow. Risks include but are not limited to safety, quality control, environmental, regulatory, financial, weather, differing site conditions, productivity, errors and omissions, missing or misfabricated material, change-in-scope, claims, productivity, etc. Formulate actionable plans to resolve or mitigate risk. Draft the monthly executive summary report, including actionable plans to resolve or mitigate risk. Coordinate with Client's Manager of Risk Control to ensure compliance with Client's Credit Risk Management and Control Policy and other Client policies. Assist the ON Line Manager, Construction Manager and Construction Administrator in implementing action plans to resolve or mitigate risk. Assist the ON Line Manager, Construction Manager and Construction Administrator in negotiations with regulators, contractors and other project stakeholders. Assist the ON Line Manager in drafting testimony and assembling documentation for General Rate Case support.

Provide leadership, guidance, performance feedback and coaching to project staff to ensure expected results are achieved.

Optimize Controls: Assist the ON Line Manager in reviewing and enhancing policies, procedures, and controls to manage project risk Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of Risk Management. Excellent experience is required in financial, project management, construction management or other risk management areas. Understanding of project and construction management risk issues and practices, regulatory issues and analytical tools and techniques.

Strong problem-solving and verbal and written communications skills are required. Ability to explain project risk to a diverse management team.

Experience with analytical tools and advanced modeling and mathematical experience. PCs, word processing, spreadsheet and database software.

Keywords

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business or a related field and 6+ years of related experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
