This leading global investment bank is looking to take on a front office eTrading application support analyst for their global rates and currencies team. This is a critical role requiring a highly motivated and dedicated individual who can provide procedural and technical support within support team to FI trading desks with a strong focus on eTrading - particularly ION MarketView.
The team is responsible for providing client-facing and server side support to Trading Applications used by traders and other business users.
This is a high-profile role working in a pressurised environment and demands an individual with flexibility, acumen and the ability to assimilate lots of information quickly, with focus on incident and problem management.
Responsibilities for the Front Office eTrading Application Support - Tier One Investment Bank - London
- Acts as the first point of support for application incidents - particularly ION/MarketView
- Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves functional and technical problems and business critical incidents through research and analysis of trends, root causes, and business impact
- Assists in the translation of solutions into technical requirements
- Maintains a knowledge base of known defects and issues, process, techniques
- Working on the European and government swaps desks
The Person Front Office eTrading Application Support - Tier One Investment Bank - London
- Must have MarketView/ION experience
- Knowledge of Unix, SQL
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team player
- Leadership qualities
- Exposure to Market Data Technologies such Tibco RV, Reuters, Triarch & RMDS
My client is looking for a dedicated candidate who has a strong background in eTrading application support to join their successful team, who is looking to start in January, though candidates with a longer notice period will still be considered.
