Public Relations ManagerMaternity Leave contract - 6 months - IMMEDIATE START!
We are searching for a PR Manager with both corporate and consumer experience to cover a 6 month maternity leave contract. This position is an excellent opportunity to head up Sydney's PR Division for a leading global consumer company offering weight loss products and services in over 40 countries worldwide.
As the company is going through a time of change and growth, your main responsibility will be to develop and manage the PR and corporate affairs plan/function in align with the overall business plan, with the aim to maintain their leading global positioning.
Roles and responsibilities
Strategic Planning - Develop and implement the in-country PR strategic plan
Advising and reporting to the Management team on PR/corporate affairs activities and action plans
Stakeholder management and engagement - working with all scientific advisors and third party partners
Delivering on PR Objectives - Working closely with the internal Marcomms team and external agencies.
Proactive and reactive media relations
Working with the digital team to implement and deliver the social media strategy
Management of PR Consultant
Required skills and experience
B.A. Hons in Communications or related degree
Demonstration of both corporate and consumer public relations
Experience working within integrated marketing teams
A personal and professional interest in Weight and health management
Strategic thinker and planner
Ability to build relationships quickly, both internally and externally
