Market Analyst- 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

We have been retained by our client, a leading professional services organisation to recruit an Analyst to join their team. This is a rare opportunity to join a renowned firm where you will directly support senior members of the company gaining wide exposure to all facets of the investment management and pensions sector. Working closely with client facing consultants and some of the leading people in the industry you will play a major role in supporting their work by providing practical analytical support and commentary.

You will primarily be responsible for:
Undertaking research, complying evidence and writing reports
Performing analysis on a range of data to support the requirements of senior management
Researching potential clients and consulting opportunities
Varied project work to support internal requirements

To be successful you will need to demonstrate:
Excellent numerical ability from either a previous employment or educational background
Strong analytical and IT (Excel) skills, the ability to understand a range a data
A broad knowledge of the financial services sector and the wider economic climate
Excellent communication and written skills
Flexible attitude and willingness to learn

This role would suit an exceptional, self-motivated candidate with a keen interest in the financial services/banking sector who is capable of performing a range of analysis from a variety of sources. As a brand new position, this is an initial 12 month fixed term contract with the potential to become permanent. In this initial year, you will be exposed to a wide variety of tasks and the experience you gather will certainly open a number of doors in terms of your career development.
