A reputable Public Sector client is actively looking to secure a Management Accountant on an interim basis. The main purpose of the role is to support the Finance Manager in providing a proactive and high quality financial service to enable effective management control of the organisation, to monitor the income and expenditure during the year and to assist in the preparation of budgets. You will play an active role in the preparation of final accounts for statutory external auditors. You will also be involved in analysing accounts, preparing monthly management accounts, presenting to budget holders and developing and training non-financial managers in understanding budgets and financial control. You will be heavily involved ion working on value for money projects and also the production of investments option appraisals. Ideally you will have gained prior experience of working within a housing association.
