Experienced Project Manager who will manage multi-discipline engineering & design teams for various projects and clients with a focus on long-term client relationship management. This person must have the demonstrated capability to handle several assignments concurrently. The work will involve managing projects, other Project Managers and team members from the engineering and support disciplines within WorleyParsons. The projects will be varied and will include work ranging from Front End engineering services to detailed engineering, design and procurement services.
Experience and good working knowledge in fossil power generation and related facilities preferred; some experience in hydrocarbon and minerals/metals process facilities is a plus.
Establishes the requirements for all areas of a project, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria. Assigns responsibility for executing project plans for key subordinates and assesses how to utilize their qualifications and strengths. Provides input to performance reviews and development plans for subordinates.
Flexibility is essential; high degree of functionality required including participation as a project engineer (technical management) and engineer (technical support) where required and appropriate to support project specific staffing needs and goals.
Significant Interaction with clients, developing relationship and business opportunities; must be highly effective in oral and written communication.
Promotes technical excellence as well as the improvement of the Quality Improvement Process. Mobilizes Company resources, through effective liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work.
Works with individual lead discipline engineer to develop budgets, schedules and plans for the various elements of a project. Ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans. Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions which would affect project cost or schedule.
Works with project staff to devise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work. Advises the customer and Company management of any such changes.
Completes other responsibilities associated with the position as may be appropriate.

Job Requirements
BA/BS degree in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. Generally minimum of 15 years experience in field; Typically 5 to 10 years supervisory and/or management experience. Additional experience a strong plus. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
Preferred background in mechanical or process engineering; Professional Engineer license and experience in engineering consulting is a plus.
Good working knowledge of commercial and technical management of small to medium size projects associated with modification/upgrades to existing plants (brownfield).
Manages work directly and indirectly through Professionals who may be leading others. Typically manages range of projects, from minor to larger, complex projects in an operating plant environment. Responsible for the daily administration of project and/or company policies and processes in order for the projects team to meet business objectives. Adapts to organizational plans in order to set direction for work teams. Requires broad knowledge of at least one technical/functional area. Participates in solving difficult technical issues requiring a broad knowledge related to technical/functional responsibilities. Solutions are derived from available resources provided internally through senior leaders and established policies and procedures.
Ability to implement project execution plans as required by company policy and procedures. Solutions are derived from knowledge gained through past external experiences and internal resources, including policies and procedures. The ability to effectively communicate and present complex program proposals and reports to senior level management is critical. Ability to persuade and influence others is critical. Participative management style with a cooperative team approach.
Commitment to customer service and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Managers lower level managers or supervisors or professionals leading others.
Typically will interface with lower level personnel, upper level management, customers, and outside vendors.
