JOB SUMMARY:
Work with business and senior analysts, architects and developers to analyze, design and develop database.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter who has demonstrated successful experience in an enterprise development environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Design and develop database components for application components
Design and develop SSIS packages for these applications
Design and develop database and XML transformation components for these applications
Perform business requirement analysis, project management, support and other duties consistent with this level of responsibility
SKILLS:
Ability to communicate well with the business and conduct requirement analysis
Ability to work well in a team environment
Significant experience with Microsoft SQL Server, TSQL, stored procedures and SSIS
Strong Knowledge of XML and related technologies
Strong knowledge of relational database modelling principles and techniques
Knowledge of dimensional database modelling is a plus
Knowledge and experience in ADO.NET preferred
Experience in Microsoft Office suites, esp., EXCEL, ACCESS and VBA preferred
Experience with SQL Server Business Intelligence products, including SSAS and SSRS
Experience with test driven development
Significant experience with software development life cycle
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Dedicated to completing assigned tasks under deadline
Ability to mentor team members on task management, as well as technical issues and solutions
Highly motivated to develop mortgage business knowledge
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 5 years of professional application development experience
At least 3 years of professional SQL Server Development experience including TSQL, Stored Procedures, and SSIS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
4-year Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
1 year of SQL Server performance tuning experience
1 year of software development experience in mortgage or financial services industries
1 year of experience in Business Intelligence or analytics applications
1 year of XML experience
