Summary

Have you or someone you know been affected by the recession? We would love to help you plant roots with one of our best clients. We have 4 multi-shift positions available where you will be responsible for administering Global Support Center department policies and procedures, including Transactional, Network and System related responsibilities. You will supervise employees assigned to a particular global shift and participate in performance reviews and disciplinary actions. You will also support and administer data retention/recovery, operational processes, and production environment. You will operate and monitor computer equipment, perform routine tasks to maintain systems/network/security environment and escalate to appropriate SME's as necessary, as well as perform a variety of complex tasks and makes critical decisions. You will also provide on-site authority during off-hour time periods.

Shift Schedule:

Alternating Wednesdays
Sunday - Tuesday (8:00 am - 8:00 pm)
Sunday - Tuesday (8:00 pm - 8:00 am)
Thursday - Saturday (8:00 am - 8:00 pm)
Thursday - Saturday (8:00 pm - 8:00 am)

Responsibilities:

60% System/Network Processing Support: Will support all system processes to ensure the quality and accuracy of processing of data into and out of our system. Will act as first point of escalation for system/process issues. Will provide analysis of processes and systems for improvement and efficiency. May be required to provide maintenance to systems.

25% Supervise Staff: Will oversee Computer Operations and Network Support staff. Will direct and coach personnel. Will participate in performance reviews and disciplinary action, communicating directly with managers.

10% General Duties: Will provide assistance to other staff for system or project based tasks. May be required to participate in documentation control.

5% Disaster Recovery Support: Manages and provides support for all data and systems disaster recovery operations. Will frequently be asked to participate in the enhancement of these systems coincident with other technology projects.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate should possess a demonstrable strong working knowledge of a complex, integrated environment to include Cisco, Intel, Unix, and Linux, with heavy emphasis on MS Windows
  • 1-3 years experience interacting with Technical , Executive staff and merchants
  • 1-3 years in a Microsoft oriented Enterprise environment is necessary
  • Knowledge of networked computer systems, data communications technologies and network infrastructures is required
  • CA Spectrum/Wily monitoring experience is a plus
  • Stratus experience is a plus
  • Linux experience is a plus
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer is a plus
  • Cisco certification and/or certification effort is also a plus
  • Additional certifications are a plus
